YOUNG FAT AND FABULOUS

I'm alive! The last few weeks have been insane, I'm so sorry I haven't posted in so long. I made it my absolute priority to make sure I took some outfit pictures this weekend, so I called up my friend (and photographer) Lizz Kuehl and arranged a shoot. She's absolutely amazing! We met in front of The Standard hotel in the Meatpacking District and got some pretty cool shots.

I'm wearing a pleather panel mini skirt from Faith21, a sheer leopard print leotard from H&M, my Faith21 pleather jacket (which I wear daily), and my Forever 21 wedges. All the gorgeous jewelry is by Fennimas! My goal is to do at least one outfit post a week from here on out. Hope you guys are still sticking with me.

(Sidenote: My day was topped off by meeting Kanye West in the MTV studios! I'm still in shock.)

Fug or Fab: Estelle

I'll put this one up to a vote, because I'm feeling charitable, and maybe this is one of those cases where I can't see the forest for the trees.

The forest being, Estelle's overall attempt at funky-cool style; and the trees are the gold jacket that's either bad-ass or C-3PO (or possibly, somehow, both), and the high-waisted leather capri pants that are so close to Hammer that something just leapt out of my toolbox to make room for them.

Kate Moss for Topshop holds steady to the end

Kate Moss' days of designing for Top shop are coming to an end. Her final collection doesn't surpass our expectations; but nor did she fail to reach them. No, what we've seen so far is - we hazard to use the word 'predictable' - so instead we'll say reliable Kate Moss. She's not going out with a final direction-changing bang, she's not placing any risk on her closing offering; it's her bohemian-infused aesthetic through and through. And that won't leave fans disappointed.

Best 2011 Fashion Trends - Style with an Attitude

When it comes to the hottest fashion trends for 2011 not everyone wants to conform to what’s “in”. Some of us want to add a little edge or attitude to our everyday style so we stand out from the other fashionistas of the world. Here are four ways to create sexy and uber chic style with an edge.

Edgy Graphic Print Ts

There is no better way to show some attitude than with a graphic print t-shirt. Go for black or white t-shirts with unique design elements including bold colors, patterns and styles. Also, t-shirts with monochromatic photos included within the design are a great way to show some attitude.

Graphic designed t-shirts are extremely versatile and can be worn with numerous styles and designs. Try pairing a graphic tee with a chic and edgy military jacket, vintage aviator jacket, tuxedo jacket, funky vest or even a belted cardigan. Add a pair of skinny jeans or worn denim pants, lace-up ankle boots and a stylish messenger bag worn across the body to complete the look.
